Northwest named safest campus in MO

Northwest Missouri State University was named the safest campus in Missouri, according to a report released by security firm Your Local Security. Of 385 public, private and non-profit universities surveyed, Northwest ranked 42nd, using factors like property, violent, and hate crimes, as well as crimes against women.Chief of University Police, Doctor Clarence Green, was quoted in a release as saying "Safety is a priority for Northwest, not just for current students, but for our incoming students, parents, and all who visit."
